LYRICS GAPS
One of the best ways to learn and improve English is through music videos and writing the lyrics of the songs.
We gave our 5th grade students a printed lyrics sheet for the song where certain key words had been omitted. After that we played the song with the aim of filling in the gaps as they listened to the song.
This activity made the lesson both fun and engaging, the students were also happy to work with the phrasing of the lyrics.

İngilizce öğrenmenin ve geliştirmenin en iyi yollarından biri de müzik videoları ve şarkı sözlerini tamamlama yoluyla öğrenmektir.
5. sınıf öğrencilerimize, sözlerinden bazılarını çıkarttığımız şarkının lirik sözlerini verdik ve ardından şarkıyı dinlerken bir taraftan da boşlukları dondurmalarını istedik. Şarkı sözlerini kullanarak yaptıkları bu çalışma hem dersleri eğlenceli bir hale getirdi hem de öğrencileri mutlu etti.
